Petey the Dog needs a home




Hi everyone! My name is Petey and I am an 11.5 year old pure bred Chihuahua. I came to Healing Hearts when my owner went into a nursing home and her family members didn't want me and wanted to take me to a shelter. Thank goodness someone contacted Healing Hearts and they saved me from going into that scary place. I have been in foster care for a long time and don't understand why because I am a really good boy. I get along with other dogs, I looooove to snuggle under the covers and get along with everyone. I do have a front foot that looks a little funny because it was run over by a car when I was just a pup. It does not cause me any pain and does not stop me from running and jumping like all the other dogs. I sure would love to find my forever home soon. Do you think you could be it?
